This post is not intended to disparage the artists' work—though I definitely agree with Roberta Smith—but to demonstrate a similarity in critical reaction to the work of artists in the exhibition Just Kick It Till It Breaks.
Interestingly, Karen Rosenberg ends her Brazda review by noting how Einarsson's post-minimal Scandinavism is "more magnetic" than Brazda's. Is a hierarchy being established here?
(For what it's worth, my metal filings sit in a pile, undrawn to any pole.)
